i find philosophy incredibly boring...

...and i've finally figured out why.
for some reason, whatever reason, i find human nature itself much more fascinating than debating whether we're here.

i analyze social situations of my own, and of others, and make the most impossible connections with other situations and piece together a profile of everyone involved. of course, these profiles are rarely every representative of a whole person--even through countless situations with the same people, the truth of who they really are in their entireity is a mystery.

i find it incredible how two entirely different people who have never met can ask me the same question, with the same look, in the same way. and for the same reason. and while people can develop into different human beings, with opposite interests, degrees of introversion, extroversion, self-esteem, and self perception, when faced with a driving emotion, like passion, love, hatred, etc., there is a juxtaposition of how they react.

so in a sense, we are all fundamentally the same, and yet extremely different.

more of this stuff later, i'll keep writing it down here.

making people think is the main reason why i write these things in the first place, so it's all good =]

but yea, nice point.

the thing is, it's that the basis of doing something "out of the box" you're used to for the sake of getting to know someone you like better is pointless. yea, chances are that they'll have a greater chance of noticing and befriending you, but if they do befriend you or anything, i just interpret that as pointless.
well, it's just my belief i guess. i just think people who do get genuinely close to each other due to their personal choices that just happen to put them in the same places and situations is a better way to find genuine friends/love/etc. it's like... they'll automatically have the same passions with you because of that unplanned way of meeting at those places you people find yourselves at.

BLA!

anywayssss... for your post... i say it's anger's crazy inter-relatedness dealie. :nods head: plus yea, this idea of several similarities and several differences dealie is why im a psych. major =D

magical, kinda. natural, yeop. it's the natural thing that happens anyways, right? but its not that i think people just have to have the same interests and niche and stuff. i see that... two people that have enough understanding between their differences that do not have to change much for the other person.
bla. sorry to be meandering... but here's another point of view to it:
you like thing A, other person likes thing B. your passion for thing A can be a bigger hook that gets the other person's attention versus a passion for thing B for the sake of passion the other person. passion in the second part is diluted and separated in a sense, and at the same time, it can be leading you away from thing A where your real passion resides.
i can go on forever with this =D

but yea dude! take psych! itll teach you how people are effing complicated and are effing stupid at the same time O.O
